Cracking Comes To The Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol
Shôn Dale-Jones, brings his brand new dark and comic story Cracking, to the Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol this November.
It’s a piece of theatre which was originally developed as a radio play for BBC Radio 4, and broadcast in August this summer.
Blending fiction and reality, Shôn has no idea real-life internet trolls will appear on his doorstep after he playfully cracks an egg on his mother’s head. It’s been described as a ‘funny, touching and thought-provoking’ performance, asking what’s funny and where we drawn the line. Come the end, we will wonder what’s real, what isn’t and what’s gone wrong.
Dale-Jones is a dab had at writing, having created 27 theatre plays, five bbc radio dramas and has an illustrious theatre career. The Bristol date will see him return to his home city for the run at the popular Old Market based theatre.
Cracking will be at The Wardrobe Theatre from Thursday 02 – Saturday 04 November 2023
