David Bowie Archive Items Coming To Bristol

The special event will be coming to Bristol in 2028

The V&A East Storehouse has announced today that a ‘landmark national tour’ celebrating the impact of David Bowie as a creative and cultural icon will be coming to Bristol.

The Storehouse has a dedicated David Bowie Centre with an archive of his belongings that you can see up close.

Now, David Bowie: On Tour, will go to cities which are currently confirmed as Dundee, Blackpool, Hull, County Durham and Bristol. More venues are due to be announced in the future.

The Bristol date will see the exhibition at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery from June to September 2028.

There will be over 100 featured ‘highlights’, many that have never been on public display before.

The exhibition will have four distinct sections taking people behind the scenes of the much-loved singer’s creative process.

We went to the V&A East Storehouse in April this year. The David Bowie Centre was absolutely brilliant, really worth making the trip for. You are also able to book up to five items in advance, to see then on a 1-1 basis.
