Whilst most of the country is kicking back on a beach or soaking up the summer holidays, there’s no rest for the cast, creatives and theatre crew in Bristol, with a brand new stage production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast musical opening up in the city this month.
The show launches at the Bristol Hippodrome on Thursday 25 August, running until Saturday 18 September 2021 as part of a new UK tour. It will be doubly exciting for the theatre as the musical will be the first show playing at the venue since closing nearly 18 months ago due to the Covid pandemic.
The show will be re-imagined, re-designed and re-staged by the original creative team whilst retaining the iconic songs and sound composed by Alan Menken.
