Dreams of the Dark by Peter Clifford at the Alma Tavern Theatre
Chilling stories mark theatre company’s first original production
Knife-Edge Theatre brings an evening of original chilling tales to the Alma Tavern Theatre this September.
Dreams of the Dark features spooky happenings and unexpected twists. A troubled woman haunted by disturbing dreams looks for help, but are these simply dreams or dark memories of her past?
The play is written by Peter Clifford, a Bristol-based actor and writer who also has an impressive background in stage and TV magic. Together with actor Heather Phoenix, they stage a show that Derren Brown himself described as ‘sinister’ and a ‘head-twister from one of our finest magicians’.
Featuring suspense, comedy, magic and touches of horror, this show is perfect for seeing in the start of the chillier autumn nights and the promise of Halloween season.
Knife-Edge Theatre was established by the pair in 2023, aiming to create new stories for the stage which blend the familiar with the unexpected.
Dreams of the Dark marks the theatre company’s first original script to welcome audiences.
Dreams of the Dark by Peter Clifford, will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre 24 – 28 September 2024
