Scottish comedian Connor Burns is coming to Bristol as part of a national tour of his new show Gallus.
Gallus, in traditional Scots dialect means bold, daring and reckless.
“Scots have a fail safe way of making sure their kin don’t get too full of themselves – they cut them down to size at every opportunity,” Burns says.
“But if an outsider was to attack you they’d defend you to the death. As a Scottish comedian I dance on that razor of wanting to blow up the room, but always checking over my shoulder to see if I might just be getting too cocky. Gallus”.
His brand new show is described as ‘fiercely funny’ with ‘bold insights into modern life’ and a ‘no-nonsense’ delivery, from a performer known for his cynicism and razor sharp wit.
