Love You, Bye at the Ustinov Studio Bath

Uncaged Theatre brings Love You, Bye to The Ustinov Studio in Bath this summer. The new piece of theatre by Meg Pickup and Taruna Nalini, explores the epidemic of violence against women and what the far-reaching impact of this on the people it directly affects as wider society.

The show was awarded the Keep It Fringe grant to enable it to go in production, with previews taking place in Bath ahead of a run at The Bedlam Theatre in Edinburgh.

Colly, Kaia, Mercy, and Theo have shared over a decade of life’s highs and lows: promotions, break-ups, illness, and recovery. They understand the quiet strength of true love – platonic and romantic – and the profound impact of having people who believe in you without question. In a world that often feels unkind, they are each other’s constant, proving that sometimes, friends are the family you choose.

Love You, Bye is described as ‘powerful’ and ‘thought-provoking’ exploring the ripple effect of anger, grief and the injustice of a society that blames women for their own victimisation.
