My English Persian Kitchen – The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic
A live cooking show inspired by a compelling true story comes to The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic this October.
My English Persian Kitchen, is the story of Atoosa Sepehr. She was forced to leave home and never return. She made a new start somewhere completely new, recreating the dishes of her childhood and homeland and building a new community around food.
The show has been written by Hannah Khalil with direction from Chris White.
My English Persian Kitchen was originally co-produced by Soho Theatre and Traverse Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at Soho Theatre. Isabella Nefar returns to the role in this new touring production.
