Music Theatre Bristol brings Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd musical to the Winston Theatre this February.
The Tony and Olivier Award winning musical tells the story of exiled barber Sweeney Todd. He returns to London seeking vengeance against the judge who framed him and ravaged his wife. His revenge leads him to Mrs Lovett, a failing pie shop owner. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up, and the carnage has only just begun.
