The Wheel of Nouns is a new, one-person cabaret-comedy about The Gender Fairy and their quest to turn everyone in the world trans…(well sort of). Using a spinning game show wheel, and the idea that any noun could be a gender.

The Gender Fairy invites people to volunteer to have their gender “transed” in a silly, low stakes way.

As the game progresses, however, we start to see the cracks in The Gender Fairy’s plan, and find out just why they’ve embarked on this chaotic quest in the first place.

Part stand-up, part theatre, part game show,  The Wheel of Nouns illustrates the flexibility of the language we use to define ourselves, and invites people to revel in their right to choose who they are.

The Wheel of Nouns will be at The Wardrobe Theatre on 04 June 2025
