High School Never Ends The Musical Comes To London

The musical had its premiere in Bristol in 2018

High School Never Ends The Musical, based on the songs by American pop-punk band Bowling For Soup, will be playing in London this November.

The show had its premiere in Bristol back in 2018. It then had a further run in London in 2019 before returning to the Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol in 2023.

The musical, which has been approved by Bowling For Soup themselves, will be getting a further performance at the Golden Goose Theatre in Camberwell next month.

It’s a comedic tale of two high school sweethearts who fall out at the end of the 80s. A chance encounter in 2008 causes the pair to reflect on the past. As neither ever got over each other, will they or won’t they find their way back together?

High School Never Ends has been written by Owen B Lewis with music by Bowling For Soup. It’s described as a ‘life-affirming’ story, with nostalgia-filled flashback scenes and a banging series of songs.

We saw High School Never Ends at the Alma Tavern Theatre in March 2023, finding it a really cheering show, created with a lot of love for both Bowling For Soup and musical theatre.

High School Never Ends will be at the Golden Goose Theatre in Camberwell on Tuesday 12 November 2024
