Inspector Spectre at the Alma Tavern Theatre

The wild romp through detective novels will be in Bristol this summer

Naked Heart Theatre will be bringing Inspector Spectre to the Alma Tavern Theatre this July.

It’s a brand new wild and uproarious adventure for the inspector aided by his loyal sidekick.

Naked Heart Theatre describes the show as a romp through classic detective stories, inspired by ‘quintessential’ British humour and set against a soundtrack of banging 80’s tunes.

It’s 1923. Inspector Spectre is fed up and down on his luck. He always seems to miss out on any new cases in the city, with another great detective always seeming to get there first.

Things dramatically change when a mystery woman visits his office, begging for help. It will take him on a wild ride across London and Paris in search of essential clues, meeting ludicrous characters and passing iconic landmarks.

Audience can expect a lot of fun.

Naked Heart Theatre was created by Johnny T. Ashman in 1999, with the company celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. It showcases original work, aiming to bring different and exciting shows to audiences.

Inspector Spectre will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre from 16 – 20 July 2024

The performance on Thursday 18 January will be followed by a 20 minute Q&A
