Love Never Dies UK Tour Announced

Love Never Dies UK:

Love Never Dies, a show set ten years after Phantom of the Opera, is going out on a UK tour, with the first two dates already announced for 2020.

The story is based on Frederick Forsyth’s novel The Phantom of Manhattan, a book which refutes the ending of Gaston Leroux’s original story. The Phantom has created a new world amongst the fairground and freak-shows of Coney Island. Still in love with Christine Daaé, it’s not long until he hatches a new plan to lure her, her husband Raoul and their young son Gustave to his new world. What could possibly go wrong?

The original production ran in London’s West End at the Adelphi Theatre from 2010-11. It never quite took off, closing after 18 months. An Australian production in Melbourne with new direction and design and starring Ben Lewis as the Phantom and Anna O’Byrne as Christine was more warmly received and released on DVD.

Dates currently published are for Leicester Curve from 26 September – 10 October 2020  and Manchester Opera House 14 Oct, 2020 – 24 Oct 2020.
