This April, Sam Dugmore will be bringing high-energy show Manbo to The Wardrobe Theatre.
What promises to be a riot of 80’s music and movie culture will see Sam looking at how action films impacted on boys and men.
Manbo is an action hero looking for meaning in a world that expects him to conform to the role of muscle-bound killer. Audiences should expect plenty of comedy as a way of exploring challenging issues, as well as plenty of physical theatre, mime and clowning.
The show is a collaboration between SA creative Sam Dugmore of theatre company The Latebloomers and UK artist Jess Clough-MacRae of Clownfish Theatre
Manbo is at The Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol 26-29 April 2023 booking now
