Massive Queues In Cabot Circus Bristol For New Bunsik Korean Street Food Place

Opening offers continue into next week

There’s genuine excitement at the opening of a brand new Korean street food brand in Bristol.

Bunsik has opened its first branch in Cabot Circus, with huge queues of people around the shopping centre delighting at free food being given away.

It’s the first branch to open in the South West, bringing us the brand’s much-loved Korean corn dogs, probably better known as K-dogs.

Korean culture and pop culture has really started to capture the UK public interest over the last five years.

Opening so soon after summer hit KPop Demon Hunters, K-beauty dominating TikTok, huge summer tours by Stray Kids and Blackpink and demand for K-dramas makes this an exceptionally well-timed opening.

Huge Queues in Massive Queues In Cabot Circus For New Busik Branch

Those visiting the new Bristol branch can expect the famous K-dogs on the menu. But there’s also far more to choose from.

There will be Tteokbokki, Korean Fried Chicken, rice bowls, Cup Bap, burgers, wraps and Bibimbap.

Vegetarian options will also be available.

The Bunsik brand was founded by restaurateur Jae Cho of the Maguro Group. It owns a range of Korean and Japanese eateries, K-beauty brands and K-design and construction.

Will Bray is the franchise partner bringing the brand to Bristol. He’s already sat on the national marketing board of the Subway brand, as well as having operated four branches across the South West.

“This is such an exciting milestone for Bunsik as we open in Bristol, a city with such a vibrant food scene,” Founder Jae Cho says.

“Cabot Circus is the perfect location for our debut here, and we’re thrilled to bring our bold and playful take on Korean street food to a brand-new audience.

Bunsik will be open 11am – 10pm each day.
