Matilda The Musical Coming to The Bristol Hippodrome on UK and Ireland Tour

Is the UK and Ireland tour of Matilda coming to Bristol?

Yes it is. Exciting Bristol theatre news this morning confirms that the RSC production of Matilda, is coming to the Bristol Hippodrome in 2019.

The tour will open on the 15 March 2018 at Leicester Curve, before going on to Dublin, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Cardiff.

In 2019, it will continue to Plymouth, Bradford, Edinburgh, Bristol, Southampton and Norwich.

The show will be at The Bristol Hippodrome from 07 May until 08 June 2019.

As well as the performance, the RSC will be running their education programme Change My Story for schools throughout the tour.

The musical is written by Dennis Kelly, based on one of Roald Dahl’s most loved books.

The music and lyrics are by Tim Minchin, with direction by Matthew Warchus.

Matilda The Musical will continue its West End run at the Cambridge Theatre in London.
