New Pippin Production at Tropicana Weston Super Mare
Weston Super Mare Theatre and dance students, will be staging a re-imagined production of Stephen Schwartz’s musical Pippin this June.
The hit musical, originally choreographed by the legendary Bob Fosse, follows Pippin as he dabbles in war, lustful entanglement and Machiavellian political manoeuvres only to discover that finding true happiness is more simple than expected.
University Centre Weston – Academy of Performing Arts’ Kyle Davies, will be directing Pippin: The Game Show! with choreography by the West End’s Ashley Luke Lloyd.
Third year students from the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course – alongside those from the BA (Hons) Dance for Commercial Performance programme, will perform the show.
Pippin: The Game Show! will be taking place at Tropicana, Marine Parade, Weston Super Mare on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June 2022.
