A festival of Figaro will be coming to the Bristol Hippodrome this March, with the Welsh National Opera’s (WNO) Spring Season – Figaro Forever.
The WNO are bringing us two new productions of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and new opera by Elena Langer and David Pountney – Figaro Gets a Divorce.
The WNO are an exceptional company for making opera accessible to all.
All the operas will be sung in English and the fun and fast pace of The Barber of Seville is the perfect First Opera for those who have never been but would quite like to try it out.
If you need even more persuasion, Sue Blane MBE, is one of the design team and well known for her original designs for the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
