Playfight at Bristol Old Vic This March

Edinburgh Fringe hit comes to Bristol theatre this March

It went down an absolute storm at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024, now Julia Grogan’s Playfight, will be coming to The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic.

Mihaela Bodlovic’s production shots capture the critically acclaimed drama, which sold out its run and received praise by Edinburgh reviewers and audiences alike.

Directed by Emma Callander, Playfight follows three friends. It navigates the messy, chaotic journey of adolescence in a world where innocence collides with the harsh realities of hyper-sexualization and exploitation.

It’s described as ‘hilariously funny yet heartbreakingly poignant’ capturing a portrait of friendship, desire, and resilience in modern Britain.

Playfight will be at The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic 14 – 29 March 2025
