Rehearsal Shots for Kiss of the Spider Woman Released
Marc Brenner’s photography has dropped ahead of the show opening in Bristol next month
Just next month, a major revival of Kander and Ebb’s musical Kiss of the Spider Woman opens at Bristol Old Vic.
The show is a co-production between the Bristol theatre with Curve and Mayflower Southampton.
The musical is based on Manuel Puig’s novel which was adapted for the stage by Terrence McNally.
The Broadway production scooped no less than seven Tony Awards back in 1993 including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.
Other much-loved musicals from Kander and Ebb include Chicago and Cabaret.
Ahead of opening night, Marc Brenner has captured creatives and actors in rehearsal photography.
The cast includes George Blagden, Anna-Jane Casey, Fabian Soto Pacheco, Gabriela Garcia, Tori Blake Scott, Jay Rincon, Damian Buhagiar, Jess Buckby, Alex Pinder and Davide Fienauri.
The production is directed by Paul Foster.
