Review: Gurt Haunted at The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic
So not strictly a review as this was just a trip to the theatre. But it would be sad not to give Gurt Haunted – A Paranormal Comedy, a mention.
The show – described as Most Haunted meets This Country – is at The Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic this week. It’s a combination of hilarious, silly and totally ridiculous, a perfect comedy show.
It’s devised, written and performed by Toby George, Casey Lloyd and Benj Foster.
As an utter send up of Most Haunted it works a treat. Toby George’s ‘spiritualist medium’ Francis Halibop is divine. As is the green night vision lighting.
Still laughing at the growling hiss which jumpscared a lady in the front row. As well as a member of the audience over enthusiastically yeeting a tankard on stage at the wrong moment.
Loved it.
