Running Away From Cinderella – Classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales with Pride Twist
Running Away From Cinderella, features Bristol artist Tom Marshman’s re-imagining of objects in the museum to be artefacts from Grimm’s Fairy Stories, with a Pride theme.
The artist has worked with Freedom Youth and Creative Youth Network to bring new stories and slants to displays inside the city’s museum and art gallery.
In Running Away From Cinderella the beautiful princess is smashing the patriarchy, our charming prince is breaking the rules of his kingdom, and that frog…? It’s gender fluid.
The free though pay what you think event is bookable and runs on 07 July 2018, at 2pm, 2pm and 4pm.
It’s for people aged 16 years upwards.
