Russell Howard Returns to Bristol for Charity Performance
Russell Howard at Bristol Hippodrome:
Popular comedian Russell Howard will be performing in a special show at The Bristol Hippodrome next month in support of a local charity.
The Funny Bones show will also feature comedians Jon Richardson, Joel Dommett, Stuart Goldsmith, Laura Lexx, Andy Askins and Mark Olver.
The event is taking place on Sunday 30 September at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. It is aiming to raise money for Above & Beyond, the official charity for the hospitals in Bristol city centre – Bristol Heart Institute, Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Bristol Eye Hospital, St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol Dental Hospital, Central Health Clinic and South Bristol Community Hospital.
The Above & Beyond charity funds patient care, equipment, improving hospital environments and the wonderful free hospital shuttle bus.
“I’m really excited to come back to Bristol to help out a local charity that supports a fantastic cause,” Russell says.
“Almost everyone in Bristol will have a link to the city centre hospitals – whether they have been a patient themselves or a friend or family member has been treated.
“This year the NHS turns 70-years-old so it was especially important for me to give something back in this anniversary year.”
Tickets are priced from £34.55 and available from: www.atgtickets.com/Bristol
