Shakespeare’s A Mid Summer Night’s Dream Eastville Lido
Eastville Park Lido, will be transformed into a magical setting for Insane Root Theatre’s summer 2022 show.
The company will bringing Shakespeare’s A Mid Summer Night’s Dream to the open-air historic Victorian space.
The audience will be immersed in the action as the company perform all around them. The story will be told through acapella harmonies, electronic sound and site-responsive design.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing this timeless and universally entertaining production to Eastville Lido,” Insane Root Co-Founder and Producer Justin Palmer said.
“Having worked in this venue before we are very excited to create an enchanting space and transport audiences throughout the summer into Shakespeare’s charming forest fairy world.”

The popular Shakespeare play will explore the themes of love, loss of identity, culture clash, rebirth and reunion.
