The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged) – Alma Tavern Theatre

Jane Austen characters, three actors and a gloriously silly but fun romp awaits audiences this October

Who doesn’t love a bit of Jane Austen? And what a perfect way to indulge in an evening of some of her most loved characters with The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged).

It’s written by by Jessica Bedford, Kathryn MacMillan, Charlotte Northeast and Meghan Winch.

The show is being staged in Bristol by Schoolhouse Productions, the Alma Tavern Theatre’s very own in-house production company.

Described as a ‘fast-paced romp’, just three actors take on all of our favourite Austen heroines, friends and love interests in a piece of writing with her incisive social satire woven through.

The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged) will be on at the Alma Tavern Theatre from 08 – 19 October 2024
