The Last 5 Years at The Station Bristol by The Worx Productions

The Last 5 Years at The Station Bristol

Watch out for The Worx Productions, who are staging Jason Robert Brown’s musical The Last 5 Years in Bristol this month.

The show will be at The Station on Silver Street in Central Bristol. It tells the story of author Jamie and aspiring actress Cathy whose relationship is pushed to breaking point, with each character’s timeline played in opposite directions.

Bristol BAOS and BLOC Productions veterans Michael and Emma Griffiths are taking the leads.

MD of The Worx Productions, Steve Blackmore, said: “This musical is an absolute gem and rarely performed thanks to its small cast of just two characters. To have two local performers who are also a real-life couple take on the emotional weight of this show is incredibly exciting. We’ve also got a full live band for the performances, so audiences will be able to experience the richness of this beautiful score. Funny, honest and intimate, The Last Five Years takes a bold look at one young couple’s hope that love endures the test of time.”

The Last 5 Years will run from 21-23 November at The Station on Silver St in Bristol.

Tickets are priced at £14.
