The Mozart Question Special Evening with Michael Morpurgo

A special event will be taking place at Barn Theatre in Cirencester next week, with Michael Morpurgo set to take to the stage after a performance of The Mozart Question.

The event – an audience with Michael Morpurgo – will be taking place after the performance on Friday 25 March 2022 and is aiming to raise money for Michael and Clare Morpurgo’s charity Farms for City Children.

The Barn Theatre’s Chief Executive and Artistic Director, Iwan Lewis will be hosting the event, which will include canapes and a drink ahead of the performance.

A post-show hot buffet will kick off the rest of the evening where audience members will be able to ask Morpurgo questions.

The evening will round off with an auction.

The Mozart Question is running at the Cirencester theatre from 21 March – 30 April 2022. It has been adapted for the stage by Vicki Berwick.

A young reporter has been sent to interview the great violinist Paolo Levi, but she’s not allowed to ask ‘the Mozart question’.

Paolo takes the reporter back over his life story, which is set against the backdrop of the Holocaust.
