The World Of Tim Burton at the Design Museum London
Is the current exhibition worth the trip from Bristol?
An exhibition delving into the work of Tim Burton, is currently running at the Design Museum in London.
The World of Tim Burton, brings together work from the director’s personal archive from childhood to current movies and TV shows.
It’s a really interesting exhibition for everyone, featuring a wide range of artifacts that was clearly peaking the interest of everyone in attendance from children right through to adults.
It’s also a valuable look into the creative process for aspiring artists, animators, film makers and creatives.
The collection includes everything from early concepts, through storyboarding and into models from movies. There is also a close up view of costumes from some of his most iconic work including Wednesday, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow and Cat Woman.

The experience takes about 1.5 hours in total, although you can move around it at a faster or much slower pace. It’s definitely worth coming from Bristol to see, particularly tacking on a second event to the day to make the journey worth it.
The World Of Tim Burton is at the Design Museum in London until 21 April 2025
