Thebans – Bristol Old Vic Theatre School

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School brings Greek tragedy Thebans to The Station this March.

Writer Liz Lochhead has merged together the Ancient Greek tragedies of Oedipus, Jocasta and Antigone into a single narrative of the House of Laius.

The explosive story of prophecy, power and political hubris, is told through a contemporary lens.

Thebans runs at The Station on dates between 01 – 08 March 2025

Accessible Performance: BSL Interpreted Performance on Friday 07 March by Sherrie Eugene-Hart
