The Exeter theatre company delve into the life of Harriet Quimby

Harriet Quimby was the first American woman to get her pilot’s license and also the first woman to make a solo flight across the English Channel.

It’s two often overlooked milestones from the historical figure who was a trailblazer in aviation history.

Middle-Weight Theatre are rectifying this problem with What’s Next? a one-woman show – performed by Victoria Lucie – which delves into her remarkable life.

The Exeter-based theatre company are taking the production out on a national tour, kicking off in Bristol.

What’s Next? will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre 17 -19 April 2024
