What’s Next? Returns to Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol
Lovely piece of theatre returns to Bristol due to popular demand
What’s Next? from Middle-Weight Theatre, will be making a return to Bristol this year, giving the city’s audiences another chance to see this lovely show.
What’s Next? tells the story of Harriet Quimby, a remarkable woman who broke through barriers to become the first woman to acquire a pilot’s licence in the US.
She then went on to become the first woman to fly solo across the English channel. Tragic events surrounding the day she achieved the historical milestone robbed her of the historical legacy she deserved.
What’s Next? is inspired by Quimby’s story. It’s written by Matt Roberts and directed by Tom Stabb.
The show came to the Alma Tavern Theatre in April this year. It’s been out on a UK tour since then but will be returning to Bristol in September due to popular demand.
Actor Victoria Lucie will also be returning to Bristol as Harriet.
We loved What’s Next? when it came to the city earlier this year. It’s not only an entertaining piece of theatre, it celebrates a legendary woman who defied cultural norms of the day to achieve great things.
