Micro Review: Bristol Culture This Week
Four cultural picks from Bristol this week
01 – 07 June 2026
There’s always a huge amount to see and do in Bristol, ranging from free events and locations to high end theatre and museums.
Here’s four cultural picks we went with this week:
Number One: Felix Happy Card Series in Bristol

Gong Cha has launched a new line of Felix Picks at its Bristol Broadmead venue on Merchant Street.
Buy two Felix Picks and get one pack of two Felix Photocards.
It’s a very exciting promotion for Stays, with many actually getting coaches and trains across the country to their nearest Gong Cha.
If you’ve no idea who Felix is, he’s one of the members of K Pop band Stray Kids. The South Korean phenomenon showed the strength of its fanbase in Bristol at last year’s chaotic HMV Do It Album Listening Party.
You can find more Stray Kids posts here: https://backstagebristol.com/?s=stray+kids
In the meantime, Stray Kids Everywhere All Around The World – at least in Bristol – are hitting Gong Cha until the promotion runs out of photocards.
Number Two: Odeon Luxe Bristol

The Odeon Luxe Bristol is a good shout. This week we saw Backrooms – very good- and The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. A really decent experience. The Luxe Pod definitely recommended.
Number Three: South Bristol Street Art

South Bristol is a treasure trove for street art. Upfest has recently taken part in the Bedminster/Southville area of the city. Here’s part of the wonderful Bristol Civil Rights Mural from @curiosity_unltd @artbyellamia
Tobacco Factory Theatres

Tobacco Factory Theatres is one of the most important theatres in Bristol. This week, its Writers Lab programme staged work-in-progress performances in the Spielman Theatre. It’s an excellent chance to see brand new writing on its development journey.
