Micro Review: Gorillaz
The Gorillaz’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium show was one of epic proportion. With opening acts of Trueno and Sparks, the entire evening felt like a summer festival. Of course, working with national and international artists is very Gorillaz, but the London date included such guests as Shaun Ryder, Johnny Marr and Yasiin Bey.
Whilst the Gorillaz world of Jamie Hewlett’s art is animated throughout, the band has moved beyond its universe with a truly international celebration of music and art.
