There’s plenty of festive options a short journey from Bristol

Bath does Christmas really well, pulling out all the stops with its decorations and events.

It’s busy gearing up for the opening of its Christmas market this year. There’s already plenty to see and do. The city is drenched in lighting and festive theatre is already playing to audiences.

If you’re in Bristol, it’s around 15 minutes by train from Bristol Temple Meads. There are also regular bus journeys from Bristol bus station throughout the day and evening.

Whether it’s music, fringe theatre, comedy, commercial theatre or pantomime, there are six major venues, each with unique events to choose from.
