Bristol’s big anime event returned to Broad Street this month
The Bristol Anime and Gaming Con has grown into one of the biggest niche events in the city, with the Mercure Grand totally chokka with everything and everyone anime.
The event is one of the best local opportunities for an anime shopping haul. As well as this, the event has a packed programme of entertainment on stage and a dedicated gaming room.
The event is probably Bristol’s best as an anime safe space, attracting a whole range of cosplay from across the anime spectrum. One of the best things about the day was the joy it sparked when some really obscure anime cosplays were recognised by other fans.
