Bristol Old Vic Starter For Ten Rehearsal Photographs

Rehearsals are in full swing for the return of Starter for Ten, which opens at the Bristol Old Vic next month.

This month, the Bristol theatre has released rehearsal photography by Pamela Raith, showing the cast in action.

The new musical returns to Bristol Old Vic this September after a record breaking run in 2024.

The show opens at the Bristol theatre next month, followed by a run at Birmingham Rep in October.

Mel Giedroyc has returned to the role of Brian’s mum – Irene Jackson and Bamber Gascoigne’s sidekick – Julia Bland.

Joining her is Stephen Ashfield as Bamber Gascoigne and Dave, Michelle Bishop as Mrs Harbinson and Ensemble, Adam Bregman as Brian, Miracle Chance as Lucy, Imogen Craig as Alice, Will Jennings as Patrick, Rachael John as Dr Bowman, Luke Johnson as Des and Ensemble, Kwamé Kandekore as Ensemble, Christian Maynard as Spencer, Asha Parker-Wallace as Rebecca and Laura Dawn Pyatt as Ensemble.

Starter for Ten is adapted from both the bestselling novel by David Nicholls and hit 2006 movie of the same name.
