YHA Festival of Walking – South West Events
A festival aiming to get people outdoors and enjoy the benefits of walking will be taking place this autumn. It’s part of the YHA’s Festival of Walking, which will take place at locations around England and Wales – including key locations in the south west.
Events include a number of free guided walks, social walks and women-only walks.
The YHA Festival of Walking is open to everyone, with a range of walks designed to suit a variety of abilities.
A woman-only Nordic walk planned in Bristol has proved so popular it’s already fully booked. But, there are other nearby locations still booking.
Walks in the region this 2025 include:
- 13 September – YHA Okehampton – Discovery and connection social walk
- 18 September – YHA Cheddar – Discovery and connection social walk
- 18 September – YHA Treyarnon Bay – Discovery and connection social walk
- 20 September – YHA Treyarnon Bay – Women-only social walk
- 20 September – YHA Swanage – Nordic social walk
- 02 October – YHA Bristol – Women-only Nordic social walk
