Taking place both online and in person at Propyard, Richard Madley of BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt wielded the hammer as 61 unicorns and three foals went up for bidding.
Bids had already become fiercely competitive online ahead of the event. During the in-person auction, Green King by by Zase, sold for a whopping £10,000.
A gold horn that had also been used in the trail, presumably for The Gold Unicorn fetched £480 alone.
Bristol Unicornfest said: “We are so grateful for every pound raised tonight the money will help Leukaemia Care continue its support of patients, families, and their loved ones following a leukaemia diagnosis.”
