Dom Joly Barn Theatre Date Announced
Barn Theatre audiences are in for a treat. Dom Joly is bringing Holiday Snaps Travel and Comedy in the Danger Zone to the Cirencester theatre this summer.
We’ve already seen it in Bristol. Rarely do you get a chance to see someone so funny, engaging and informative with such an infectious love of Lebanon that it makes you want to travel there.
He brings audiences hair-raising tales of his travels as well as funny ones – we are now the happy owners of a shopping bag proclaiming ‘do not do drugs or go whoring’. Joly also attended the same school as Osama Bin Laden – at the same time.
Dom Joly is of course well known as the creator of Trigger Happy TV. He has a range of hit travel books and has additionally become known as a dark tourist.
He brings his fantastic show to Barn Theatre from 05 – 06 August 2022
Joly says: “I’m so excited to be playing in Cirencester. It was the first town I called home after I left London and moved to the country. I would probably still live there if it hadn’t been for Laurence Llewelyn Bowen taking the town overnight in a bloodless coup in 2009.”
