Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Arnos Vale Cemetery Red Rope Theatre

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Arnos Vale Cemetery:

‘In an attempt to free his darker nature without suffering the consequences and remain the respectable man that society thinks he is, Dr Jekyll breaks through the laws of nature with devastating consequences. This is a story of the human condition, of identity and of friendship. How far is one man willing to go to find his true self…?’

Everyone needs some deliciously dark storytelling in their life and the best place to get a fix of this in Bristol is with Red Rope Theatre’s annual date at Arnos Vale Cemetery.

The company is returning for the fourth year in a row having thrilled audiences with previous successes Frankenstein, The Turn of the Screw and Dracula.

This year the atmospheric Anglican Chapel in the grounds of the Victorian garden cemetery will be play host to Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological thriller Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

The story has been adapted for the stage by award winning writer and director Matt Grinter, whose work has been seen in venues across the country such as Trafalgar 2, The Bristol Old Vic, The Pleasance, The Finborough and Tate Gallery.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde will be on at Arnos Vale Cemetery from 06-16 November 2019.

The age recommendation is 14 years upwards.
