Dreamgirls The Bristol Hippodrome :
Dreamgirls will be heading off on its first ever UK tour, starting at the Bristol Hippodrome.
The hit show premiered in the West End in December 2016, with a book by Tom Eyen, music by Henry Krieger and additional material by Willie Reale. It features classic songs And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going, Listen and One Night Only.
The story follows a group of young singers – Effie, Lorrell and Deena – aiming to find fame and fortune in the 60s,
It will be at the Bristol Hippodrome from Saturday 12 September– Saturday 03 October 2020, before continuing in Milton Keynes, Blackpool, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Birmingham, with further venues throughout 2021 still to be announced.
