Moulin Scrooge at The Wardrobe Theatre for Christmas

The Wardrobe Theatre has teamed up with Front Room Theatre in Weston-Super-Mare, for this year’s Christmas show at the Old Market venue.

Moulin Scrooge is an adult-only new comedy featuring glitz, showgirls, a gaudy elephant in a mash-up musical with plenty of laughs.

This flamboyant nightclub-cum-bordello writhing with tassels, tits and tuberculosis is the number one pleasure-spot where every vivacious Victorian with a taste for the unrestrained wants to be this Christmas Eve. Everyone, that is, except stuffy old Ebby Scrooge – a greedy, hateful miser who detests merriment. But when some spooky ghosts push his buttons, can-can Scrooge find love and learn the true meaning of a jolly winter festival before his soul is doomed forever?

The Wardrobe Theatre is one of the best venues for some festive shows for grown-ups, having previously staged Notting Hell, The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly, MDH: Puppets Do A Movie, Reservoir Mogs, Rocky Shock Horror, Oedipuss In Boots and Goldilock, Stock & Three Smoking Bears.
