Bristol Old Vic Theatre School brings Laura Wade’s witty adaptation of Jane Austen’s unfinished novel The Watsons to The Station this March.
The perfect play for Bridgerton bingers, it has all the hallmarks of a jolly good time – Regency period, meddling mothers, fancy frocks, all charm but with a rebellious spirit.
Emma is nineteen. She’s facing a life of poverty without prospects until she hatches a plan with her sisters to get married pronto. What could possibly go wrong? Well the novelist not finishing the book for starters. What will the characters do to get their happy ending?
The Watsons runs at The Station on dates between 15 – 22 March 2025
Accessible Performance: BSL interpreted performance on Friday 21 March by Sherrie Eugene-Hart
