Fabric Africa: Stories Told Through Textiles at Bristol Musuem

Fabric Africa Exhibition at Bristol Museum:

Fabric Africa features a selection of beautiful textiles and clothing dating from the late 1800s to the present day from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Sudan, Mali and Swaziland and other locations across the African continent.

Each piece from the museum’s World Cultures and British and Empire and Commonwealth collections tells a story through its fabric, design and construction.

The exhibition runs until 19 May 2019.
