Girl From The North Country Bristol Hippodrome Tour Date

Described as ‘uplifting’ and with a double Olivier Award to its name, Girl From The North Country will be coming to Bristol as part of a UK and Ireland tour.

The show has been created by writer and director Conor McPherson, who collaborated with Bob Dylan to reimagine the singer songwriter’s legendary songs.

The story is set in the heartland of America in 1934, following the lives of a group of people whose paths cross in a guesthouse. Each find themselves at a turning point in their lives, realising nothing is what it seems. It brings together themes of family and love against Dylan’s legendary music.

Set and costume design is by Rae Smith, orchestrations, arrangements, and music supervision by Simon Hale, with additional arrangements by Simon Hale and Conor McPherson. Lighting design is by Mark Henderson, sound design by Simon Baker, movement direction by Lucy Hind and casting by Jessica Ronane CDG.

Girl From The North Country will be at the Bristol Hippodrome from 30 January – 04 February 2023.
