Jason Donovan Bristol Hippodrome date postponed until 2021
Jason Donovan’s Bristol date has been postponed until 2021 due to coronavirus. The popular performer had been scheduled to open the tour in Cheltenham in September, before arriving at the Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday 18 October 2020.
The 52 date tour would have been the 30th anniversary of his hit debut album Ten Good Reasons. The Even More Good Reasons tour would have seen the singer performing his pop hits alongside songs from musicals accompanied by a live band.
A statement was released yesterday saying: ‘We’ve had lots of questions today about Jason’s Even More Good Reasons tour. Unfortunately, the tour is being postponed to 2021. It’s a difficult and lengthy task to re-arrange a tour, made all the more challenging because of the current situation. Please bear with us while our promoter works on this for us.’
An official announcement concerning the new dates will be coming on 24 June.
