The Last Five Years The Other Palace Digital Event
Jason Robert Brown’s clever musical about two New Yorkers falling in and out of love during the course of five years, is to be digitally streamed live as an The Other Place digital event.
Lambert Jackson Productions are working with actors Lauren Samuels and Danny Becker, who will record their parts of the show entirely in isolation. The two parts will then be edited together to make the show.
Jamie – Danny Becker – and Cathy – Lauren Samuels – meet, fall in love and then break up, but the musical’s timeline for each character works in opposition to each other. Throughout the show, the characters do not interact except for one song in the middle when their timelines converge.
The show will be live streamed online with tickets now booking for the dates of Thursday 25 June 2020, Friday 26 June 2020 and Saturday 27 June 2020.
The show runs at 90 minutes without an interval and is recommended for audiences aged 16 years upwards.
