Leave a Light On Initiative to Keep Musical Theatre Actors in Paid Work

Leave a Light On at The Theatre Café

A series of concerts will be taking place online to keep actors in paid work, as well as provide entertainment for those in isolation at home.

Lambert Jackson Productions and the Theatre Café are working together on the Leave a Light On series. It’s set of piano vocal concerts live streamed from The Theatre Café in London for a small affordable fee.

The event starts on Monday 23 March with Layton Williams, who is currently playing Jamie New is the UK touring production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, due to come to the Bristol Hippodrome in May.

Lambert Jackson Productions and The Theatre Café said “We are so excited about this project. This is a really dark time for the theatre world and we want to help wherever we can, as much as possible. The idea that people who are self-isolating can help performers who have lost all of their work is a really beautiful thing, and also speaks volumes about our amazing industry and the community it fosters”.
