Theatre Royal Bath Temporary Closure

Theatre Royal Bath Temporary Closure Coronavirus

The Theatre Royal Bath has closed its doors until at least Monday 14 April, following official government advice to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

All shows in the theatre’s Main House have been cancelled up to and including Saturday 11 April and in the Ustinov Studio until 09 May.

The Box Office is still taking bookings online or by phone for all shows from 14 April, with staff in the process of contacting ticket holders for cancelled shows. Customers are entitled to a full refund, a credit note or are being asked to consider making a donation or part donation of their outlay to support the Theatre Royal.

In a statement, the theatre said: ‘Theatre management is urging the public to help keep the venue afloat in an uncertain period of closure by not receiving a refund for cancelled performances; continuing to book for upcoming events, safe in the knowledge that all outlay will be fully refunded if they do not go ahead and by purchasing vouchers from the Theatre Royal’s website that can be redeemed once the situation has settled.’

They are asking for customers’ patience and support, saying ‘the wellbeing and safety of our staff, artists and audiences is of utmost priority.’
