Micro Review: Cracking Exhibition, Gromit! 50 Years of Aardman in Bristol

Aardman is celebrating its 50th anniversary year through 2026, with Cracking Exhibition, Gromit! 50 Years of Aardman in Bristol.

The event is taking place at M Shed. It features all of your favourite animated characters, storyboards, sets and even an Oscar.

It’s a genuinely interesting exhibition that takes about an hour to get around. You get to walk through the animation process from concept to build. It’s actually really surprising to see how big some of the sets are as well as the tiny but highly detailed background props.

The event runs until 13 September and is definitely worth a visit.
