Murder For Two at the Barn Theatre Until March
Barn Theatre has recently launched a new revival of musical comedy Murder For Two, bringing the setting of the action to the United Kingdom for the first time.
The high-energy whodunit, is a musical comedy that pays homage to old-fashioned murder mysteries. It follows Marcus Moscowicz who must put his sleuthing powers to the test to solve the death of novelist Arthur Whitney – before the real detectives arrive. Actors Lee O’Reilly and Sam Denia, will play 13 characters between them, as well as the piano.
Director Bryan Hodgson said: “I’ve always adored working at the Barn and am so excited to be returning for the ridiculous romp that is Murder For Two. The show is such a tonic coming out of last year, and the silliness of the piece brings a well-timed smile to all. For the first time ever this show will be set in the U.K. (firmly in the realms of Gloucestershire) and with only two guys playing every suspect, detective, victim, and murderer, this show is Agatha Christie gone wrong……and then some!”
Murder For Two, will be at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester until 05 March 2022
